From the Ground Up: The High Peaks Story
High Peaks Electric wasn’t handed to us; it was built. Founded by Kris and James, our company brings over 15 years of combined hands-on experience in the electrical trades.
We both know what it means to start at the bottom. Navigating a troubled youth and the challenges of young adulthood, we found our footing, our discipline, and our passion in the electrical trade. We climbed the ladder of life the hard way—pulling wire, studying the code, and putting in the sweat equity to master our craft. Today, we run our own business with a single, driving goal: to make people's lives better through the work we do.
Over the years, we grew tired of watching "corporate" electrical contractors treat homeowners like ATMs—over-promising, under-delivering, and using fear to up-sell unnecessary equipment. We knew Colorado Springs deserved better. That’s why we built High Peaks Electric on a foundation of absolute transparency, safety, and respect.
